The iList: (list of Iowa Bloggers)

Here’s the official I-List (list of Iowa Bloggers) — originally started by my friends Drew McLellan and Mike Sansone.

I decided there were so many lists out there, some with errors and some with different links, that there should be one “official” list that everyone can include on their site with a widget. That way if there are changes to the list, they’re automatically updated everywhere! Sound cool? I thought so too.

Be sure to grab the widget in the sidebar… it’s yours to use and share!

If you want to add a blog to the list, please add the info in the comments below. I’ll review and get it added as soon as I can. (Likewise please let me know if there are errors or any dead links in the list)

There are a few rules to be included on the list. Please only request to be added if:

  1. You live or work in Iowa (that’s why we call it the I-list.)
  2. The content of your blog is not offensive (If you have to ask, it’s probably not going to pass muster.)
  3. Your blog must not be blocked by a registration page, or otherwise be a membership-only blog (though I will add links to free and open versions of them).

    Robert, I don’t see a blog anywhere. Do you have a URL for your blog?

    Dale, couldn’t find your blog either. If it’s on the Des M oines Register web site, tell them to remove their brief registration page to access news, and I’ll take a look. (I refuse to register to read the news — hence I refuse to put up a blog blocked by a registration page.)

    Hey folks… be patient. I’m re-tooling the widget a bit. Seems popularity for being *ON* the iList is more that I anticipated and the original widget is slow to load with it’s current members.

    The iList widget 2.0 will be faster and (hopefully) will better raise awareness for your blog and the Iowa blogging community.

    I live in Des Moines and work from a home office. In addition to being Captain of the Pajama Brigade I’m an affiliate marketer and artist. My blog is a mix of minor personal content with an emphasis on marketing, online retail selling (in particular using Print on Demand retail services), and creating art for that medium. The blog strings together elements of my online and freelance businesses - so it’s a collection of work and play.

I’ve written for various sites some I may add later, but for now this is the site I want the add for. I will include many features and facets of past blogs I have done such as wrestling columns, book and movie reviews, and life in general. I plan on combining all three for this blog, and I will spare nothing at the expense to have my blog be the best that it can be.
