web video solutions for business promotion

My green screen guinea pig

I just finished up my first “green screen” project for fellow Central Iowa Blogger, Doug Mitchell and his associate Paul Gratton — for their new venture, Rental Metrics. Their goal was to quickly pitch their services to help potential customers understand this new business and how Rental Metrics can help. (If you haven’t talked to Doug or Paul about this new venture, be sure to do so… I think they’re on to something with this forward-thinking business model.)

Thanks to Doug for being my green screen guinea pig and to Paul for being a great co-producer. You guys were a pleasure to work with, and I really enjoyed learning more about what you are up to.

Back atcha Chris! We had a great time and your professionalism, insight, and expertise made this a very quick process. What did we spend…maybe 20 minutes fooling around with stuff (mostly me trying to be a good on camera guy)?

This medium is highly desirable and far more sticky than simple text.
Great job. I didn’t feel like a test subject. (But I did feel a bit like a TV weatherman)

Chris, Looks great! Obviously not done outdoors in Iowa right now.

Give me a call some time. I’d like to learn more about using video.

    Doug,

I totally agree. I think this medium has a far better ability to reach it’s target audience than mere text. We’re just at the beginning of what will be!

    Art,

If I don’t talk to you Friday at the blogger meet up, I’ll holler at you next week! I’m certain we can find a way for you to use video to strengthen your connection with your audience!
